Make you Proud

I just want to make you proud Life's been lifing Since you left this earth ?? I've experienced a lot of emotional hurt The hurt of a daughter Missing her mother An empty feeling Like no other I can hear You say Do not weep , I am great Smile baby girl God makes no mistakes Tears keep rolling My love never leaves I will always be Everything you imagined I will be that and more I just want you proud of me for sure Mama, I know you are watching Somewhere in the clouds And I will continue to make you proud (Repeat 1x) You always believed In me My dreams of writing ?? You said I did a good job that was so exciting. Ever since I was a kid I appreciate you mom for all you did You faced many obstacles Came out on top You fought a good fight You gave me strength To hold on Mommy, I never met someone so strong ?? Now that you are physically gone It hurts Trying to see how this works You say baby girl keep your head up Keep praying Keep God first You know what I'm saying On days when you don't understand Hold out your hand Put it with God's And it will bring you peace Won't be that hard Don't continue to cry Because my soul did not die I'm with the Lord I'm on board One day we will meet again Until then Mommy proud of you Continue to win!!! Mama, I know you are watching Somewhere in the clouds And I will continue to make you proud (Repeat 1x) I'm looking I'm watching From above Never will you lose my love Look in your heart That's where I'll be I'll never leave (Repeat 1x) Mama, I know you are watching Somewhere in the clouds And I will continue to make you proud (Repeat 1x) Repeat until chorus fades Written by :Concetta Hardnett 08/20/2024
