Make the Mind a Sea

Make the mind a sea And see : How its surface tosses in suffering And the tormented waters dive deep Searching intensely a place to rest in peace. Make the mind a sea And see : How life crumbles into shards of dark doubts Piling up in sinking meaningless heaps Looking desperately for a boat to float in hope. Make the mind a sea And see : How the mind in the core becomes calm and cool, Becomes the dense silence of the deep sea And rests in the tranquil fold of the universal soul. Make the mind a sea And see : How the enlightened life pulsating in rhythm With the rolling waves of the open sea Joins the cosmic dance of joy in ecstasy. Make the mind a sea And see : How it becomes free.

I love the play on words, and the repetition also, makes this one pulsate with unique and clever introspection. Well done !!
