Make Mother Proud

What is it like to make her smile
Or wipe away her old weary tears?
What does it take to make a mother proud?
I am not a mother yet,but soon,I'll be one
I'll demand that my daughter gives me that feeling ,
Yet, I must first give my own the same,
In order to be rewarded with similar respect.
I have got to shake off her worries,
By bringing joy to her soul,
By becoming the daughter she raised me to be,
That I can see her inner smile and laughter,
But most importantly, that peace of mind
That will allow her to sleep well and rest well,
That will give her good health and more years.
