Make Me Cry

Make me cry

Since long you chose to stay away,
It's tough for me to tolerate betray,
In sleep at nights I have cried,
My subtle desires having belied,

Friends forever you had promised,
Brightness of life very soon eclipsed,
How long will I have to repent,
Broad smile on face, now I pretend,

Tears that once flooded my eyes,
Now just an empty stare in the sky,
Once that was an emotional outburst,
Now as if a slowly simmering curse,

Shocked and spellbound, yet hopeful,
Mind ponders on having lost magnetic pull,
Silent sorrow, not a tear from dry eye,
Requite my love, make me loudly cry !
