Notes About The Poem

Make a Wish

I wish I could travel back in time, to correct the mistakes I’ve made. Not that I’ve committed a crime; but it’s a shame our days can’t be replayed, and our errors erased and not displayed. Contest Make a wish Sponsored by Kim Merryman 07~07~16

Hi Jan, You have certainly penned a "wish" we all have had at one point in our lives. However, each mistake and set back made me the woman I am today. Well done. Best of luck in the contest.A Big seven:-)Alexis

A wish we would all like to come true. However, you do realize if you went back and changed just one thing, everything from that point on would be different. Each choice leads to the next choice, therefore, changing one thing would have presented you with a different next choice. Love the poem, Jan.

Actually Jan, were I given the chance, I would start all over if I could take with me the knowledge I have learned. Sadly, even if it meant I would have to have different children, which would be my only regret.

You are so right there Daniel and we wouldn't learn from our mistakes either - but some day's wouldn't it be great just to be able to turn the clock back - i know its something I'd love to be able to do! :-) hugs Jan xx

Sadly, Jan, we all display our mistakes in one way or another. Thanks for the reading about my dog in the park. Success in the contest. By-the-way, how do you put pictures on your page? If it's not too complicated, I'd love to know. / M
