Make a better place
I sigh and pick my pen again
I will say this and repeat again
Make it a better place at least,
where life can be enjoyed with no refrain
I talk of the world, yes
When God created us
He chose to give us free will
He never made us like robots,
where we fill in the algorithms and do as instructed
He gave us the will to choose
so let us choose peace,
let us choose love,
let us choose unity,
let us choose compassion,
Make this world a better place
Children are dying of hunger and diseases
You can help bring them food and medicine
women are victims of household violence
you can help talk to fellow man to treat her right
Leaders are corrupt, swindle funds meant for development
well, don't vote them in the next election
Our ozone layer is being depleted, no rain
plant at least a tree
There are tribal wars, racism and oppression
Treat them right, they deserve it
We all drip the same blood, red
If I am black, my blood is red
If I am white, my blood is red
So why fight? We can fit in this world
each with their own space
if we are of different religion, let us not fight
Did God tell you He is not a Muslim?
Well let us act right, religion is supposed to unite and make us live peacefully
Let everyone be free to worship their own god
Together we can get there
just make a little space
and make our world a better place to live
Let us care for each other more
