Majesty of Calm

Blue heights peak
and can clearly see 

a majesty of calm

blinders cast away
in the confusion
the built up 
confessions

there is modesty 
heroic
melting minds
losing track of time

golden years ring
exploring bodies 
of earthen vessels
treasured 
unlocked in trust

serenity sits upon the horizon
pages tumble in the wind

blank, 
silently still

we blink
we embark 

on a flight of life, 
of love
freedom, openness, 
hopefulness 
sentient, 

written and re-written
we breathe
again
