I wish you could hear the Australian magpies
calling in the morning with the fresh scent of eucalyptus in the air.

Here is one calling....such a beautiful warbler.

Magpie Magpie, this jewel of a bird with songs that flicker like a candle. These notes, the enchantment of a thousand mornings. we cannot capture its sound- the magic of movement, the notes up and down. When ravens stitch stars to the silence of night and fold their black, splendid wings we wait for the magpie - and morning in a galaxy of dreams.
