Magical Mystical Ethereal Place

Faeries are tittering among the bluebells, asters and sunflowers.
I do not have to hear them to sense their giggles and feel their joy.
The fey love meadows like this, she is being blessed by sun today.

I feel eyes on me; brownies? Elves? The grasses are long.
Living beings are discreetly watching; wondering at my motive.
This is a virginal meadow, people have not been here for a while.

I slow down my pace and sit, breathing in the beauty of today.
There is a magical, mystical, ethereal feeling here.
I watch tiny bugs, grasshoppers, ants, and a lady bug.

She delights me the most, giving my imagination a little song.
I sing the ditty to her, and I laugh, feeling God in this place.
Surely it is the most blessed place in the world right this second.

A violet and a patch of clover take my attention toward the woods.
Is that a tiny door at the base of the giant oak?
I have to take a closer look….

Reading your nice piece here inspired me to squeeze out one more poem based on Shakespeare's play "A Midsummer Night's Dream".
