Magical Days

As dawn arrives
   I sense the delightful morning sun 
rising over the land 
   A taste of green tea 
and I'm ready to face my day 
    as an ESL writing assistant
The city glows 
     almost super naturally 
and the metropolitan scene 
     comes alive 
As I walk to work 
    I sense the joys of urban life 
the masses of people off to work 
    in this fantastic
creation built with the sweat 
and blood of countless white and blue collar workers

Timothy Hicks May 12, 2013 at 11:04 PM There are just some days you feel so GREAT to be alive. I've never lived in the big city, but I've visited them before. They are magical in their own way, but I typically enjoy the smaller crowds. You have a talent for descriptions... your words easily put me into the scene and into your shoes.
