After so long, a certain date, a certain place
Clouds suddenly cleared and out came the sun
We both felt the magical charm
Wasn't it simply the best
There lies an image in the mirror of my soul
Those sparkly eyes, that voice, the dimpled grin.
You unlocked my heart and instantly stepped right in
All at once my life changed from cold to gold
Memories of a day well blessed
Held in your tender arms
From the very first sweet moment my heart was won
First time ever that we met face to face.
I long to see you again, I can hardly wait
Tho’ it be a tangled web we have spun
Your loving is a soothing balm
Calms the beat beneath breast
Precious memories to treasure as years unfold
Until the moon and stars forget to spin.
