Magic In Leaves

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Leaves are green,
green makes them alive
yellow makes them dead,
magic comes from water, and the heart that cares
just like when a person is hungry,
care is shown, by the action one takes,
to better the situation.

Life wasn't meant to be easy,
no simple...
it was made to puzzle one's brain for a moment,
Love,
Love is patient, love is kind..
to one love is a two way thing,
don't expect to be loved, if you cannot love,
patience is sharp, given the opportunity,
i would cherish,
writing is a skill, reading is better yet made simple for the lazy heads...
and challenging, for the challenged minds.
an escape to knowledge,
made better without wisdom,
wisdom not seen,
not experienced, and mostly silence,

for one moment i was a yellow leaf,
left without water,
not a single drop,
everytime i saw Him,
my heart melted with joy in disguise
i wasn't sure whether or not it was going to be forever,
but for a second i wasn't worried.
obviously scary though
i waited patiently, until i couldn't
that's when we realised patience wasn't really my thing
and not like i expected you to be,
I knew i was wrong for a moment.
told my best friend about it, but it seem
to have not made a difference

still miss the meals,
the goodnight and good morning kisses,
the longest hugs ever
oh so much happiness.
I would cherish,
knowing i lived the best life money could buy...
better than my fellow friends!

I love him and his magical hands.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed day.
