Magic Balloon

If I had a magic balloon
I'd hold onto it and see
  where in the world
  it would take me.

Into a sky of blue,
  over a sea of green,
  through the clouds of white,
and down to a new scene.

Now hold my hand tight.
Up into the sky we'll go.
We'll float upon the wind.
Sometimes we'll fly fast.
Sometimes slow.

We'll feel the cool air in our hair
  and on our happy faces
  blowing us to new friends
  in faraway places.

by the way, I am part Cherokee too but my sister's DNA test showed she has no Cherokee in her blood. I wonder if it can get THAT watered down in several generations! (Did you ever hear the Chrokee nation song by Raiders and the Lost ARc?)

Goodie, I found this cute little poem back on your other page! I hope it gets more reads. Maybe a balloon contest is coming one day!!

Great rhyme Carole, perhaps the soup is our magical balloon! Different kind of scenery of course.
