Magic
a life full of mysteries
sometimes magic, sometimes wonder
a magician's sleight of hand
a magic spell that pulls us under
you think you have it all figured out
you've thought it through in advance
as you dig inside your heart
to give it just one more chance
unsuccessful at blocking it out
trying to fight it with all I can
as I try to control my mind
my heart gets out of hand
my heart is like a fist
holding on to what its feels
and what I need from you
is magic so it can heal
