Maggie
My life was in a shambles
Pain and heartache I must bare
Needed some kind of answer
Needed love to share.
Then I found a puppy
Unconditional love she gave
Made me forget my troubles
She came along to save.
Curly soft black fur
A sparkle in her eyes
Laughter from her antics
No more worries over lies.
All the stresses of my day
Would vanish without a trace
Just walk through my front door
And look down at her beautiful face.
Then God decided that he needed her
Wanted this joy at heavens gate
So I lost my little savior
I guess you could call it fate.
I will cherish what time we had
Forever thankful she was there
To brighten up my life
When I felt that no one cared.
