Madness Fell
They reached the highest peaks
of the highest mountains,
seeing marvels of no measure
in gods' abodes,
that drifted above the clouds!
"We are now like you,"
"We don't need you"
they scorned the gods.
We don't need to look above,
and kneel before you any more...
The gods were angry for being demeaned
by their children - their own creations.
Madness fell down upon the mortals
on the highest peaks of the highest mountains,
making them to return at the mountains' feet,
and hide in the forest and holes...
The gods could not be reached anymore...they were
far beyond the stars!
