Madness

We all cry for peace and sanity.
In a world fill of blame, finger
pointing and rank bigotry.
.
Each of us donning a golden halo 
with glee!
Telling ourselves with false pride,
"Well, at least that does not apply
to me!"

We, the archangels of poetry, our
trophies in hand might heed
Nietzche's saying.
Perhaps it is ourselves we are truly
portraying?

Now we behead, blow up innocent people and stab each other in the back with words. In your Country,stabbings outdo lynchings. Every country is violent. No country is safe. But words the matter.
