Madness

We all cry for peace and sanity. In a world fill of blame, finger pointing and rank bigotry. . Each of us donning a golden halo with glee! Telling ourselves with false pride, "Well, at least that does not apply to me!" We, the archangels of poetry, our trophies in hand might heed Nietzche's saying. Perhaps it is ourselves we are truly portraying? " Madness is rare in individuals!   But in groups, parties, nations,  and ages, it is the rule! "        ~Friedrich Nietzsche~             January 10, 2020

G'day Panagiota … a great example of your fine verse is right here now with our ferocious forest fires. The blame game is in full swing over natures fury - thank you Panagiota for this honesty verse - Lindsay

Pixabay has pictures of the fire. And have seen it on the news and weather channel. Terrifying to me. Of course, there s blame and how ignorant and useless it is. There is a long road to go ahead for your country. Grousing, bickering, won't work. Blaming another country won't either...thank you and my heart and prayers are with you in Australia Panagiota xx

TS...yes! And in any group, the madness intensifies to harmful levels. You know what I mean! The news showcases madness, anger, scorn. As if there were no beauty, no good people. What a lie! Yellow journalism at its peak these days. The Internet reeling in it. Panagiota

Hello Joe! The blame game is the worst. That's what kids do in schools. As adults we divide the world instead of uniting it. It takes more than songs. It takes not speaking evil of those who think differently. There is NO listening. If we love those in real life or on the net, Let them know. We live in a harsh and painful reality. ~ Panagiota~

So very true Panagiota, you see it in lynch mobs. Tom

I see it on TV, in the seething teeth of livid, protestors, in governments, the news causes great rancour in all nations. Lynchings were long ago. Now we behead, blow up innocent people and stab each other in the back with words. In your Country, stabbings outdo lynchings. Every country is violent. No country is safe. But words the matter. Without a God, you can see it accelerating. Nietzsche was right. We see it online, too. Character assassination. Thank you...PR Thank you.
