Made New
HE threw away the trash,
from my past.
Molded and shaped me,
in a way that would last.
Proved over and over again,
that HIS love was true.
Then, introduced me to miracles,
when HE made me new.
HE blocked evil plots.
And, Hard lessons turned to blessings,
when HE touched my life,
and made me stronger, for the strife.
By HIS stripes, I was healed!
I wish I could tell y'all, how it feels!
I wish I could explain all of the chills.
I would if I could... But, on the real!!!
What I can say is this....
There's no doubt about it!
I AM HIS!!!
Way before my birth,
it was written.
No matter how I strayed.
Or with the dark, caught smitten.
I saw that, without HIS grace,
I was as vulnerable, as a kitten!
But, HE scooped me up,
off of the ground, where HE found me.
Gave me HIS word, so as to ground me.
Ordered my steps,
and scattered the evil that was around me.
Taught me about REAL love,
and said,
"Your flesh, ain't what's true!"
And that was the day,
that GOD made me new.
GOD made me new.
GOD... made... me... new.
