Maddening Rain

Pitter patter, pitter patter
Telling me that I don’t matter
That the storm clouds will not scatter
Telling me my heart will shatter
Pitter patter, pitter patter

Splish splash, splish splash
Telling me our dreams will clash
That on rocks my love will dash
Telling me my heart he’ll gash
Splish splash, splish splash

Drip drop, drip drop
Telling me my love he’ll swap
That my heart strings he will crop
Telling me my life will stop
Drip drop, drip drop
