Madame Cecilia

A woman of remarkable might,
She walks in the light,
She sees through the night,
As she rises to fight,
Hope is her greatest delight.

A woman of uncommon grace,
Sunshine brightens her face,
She believes in something worthwhile to embrace,
She says solitude is the door to a mysterious place,
Colourful petals adorn her room’s vase.

She calls upon the elements during the day,
Turbulence hasn't made her feeble and grey,
She often retreats to pray,
Emerging to find a way,
She observes the stars, saying she will be made like one of them someday.
