Started a new job this Monday
Happy to receive a check one day
But a new co-worker looks familiar in a way
Is he watching as I walk and sway?
Darn! Hope he doesn’t say
I was young and loved to party
Just needed to make some quick money
Crying and choking as I gave up my honey
Will he remember I was the little bunny?
Welcome he says, you’re voice sounds familiar someway
Forgive me, I’m blind & sounds are my ears each day
Relief, something’s finally going my way
