Apologies...

Remember that ifs, buts, and maybes
mean nothing to mad dogs with rabies. 
For, in either case,
they'll rip off your face,
and then will proceed to your baby's.

A wickedly funny, sharply compact limerick that turns a familiar cautionary phrase into gleefully escalating horror. The clean AABBA rhyme, brisk cadence, and deadpan “Apologies...” opening make the final grotesque image land with particularly dark comic force.

Does that mean you're in school, studying engineering books again? It seems like every time I go to my hobby of solving math puzzles, I'm just a little bit dumber.
