In France a cow's called a vache A crass bovine who's moo is so brash Some are infected by mad cow disease They give sour milk, making rancid cheese I know what will be a cow's fate One day soon she'll be on my plate I will not miss its whiney mooing Or cow pats in fields from its poohing Inspired by but not for Animal Nonsense Contest 08-18-17

Nice verse but just to give a more tolerant view of these placid creatures: How now brown cow What a blessing on the world art thou A miracle of God's construction Four stomachs working in mass production

This is a very hilarious write my friend Jan! You have surely tickled my funny bone with this ingenious poem! Personally I like cows, they get a bad wrap with things. You just have to know how to handle them, and how to get to know them, they really are great animals! But the one thing I love about them...I love steak! Give me the Filet please! Awesome Work!!

This would fit that contest perfectly. I was kicked by a mad cow one time and my boss got a broken leg by a cow. Never saw one with mad cow disease. Dodging cow pies was always a lot of fun. I found your poem very enjoyable and very humorous. Write On. Ricky Sholar
