Mad As a Stung Hornet I Am

I am in my outside office mad as a stung hornet. It has been so long since I have used this computer I do not know if it is on or off. I have pushed the on-off button sixteen times. Too bad I didn’t push it once and rest my fingers since it is a rocker switch.

Regardless of rocker switches or brooms with witches --- computers ARE maddening devices, for the initiated and uninitiated alike. ~ gw

A rocker switch goes from on to off. So if you push it once it is on but often you have to wait after pushing it on. I am crucially impatient so rocker switches are not great for me. I keep pushing it on off on offon off never waiting.
