Lately I had been struggling with retinal macular degradation. I am going thru with medical procedures, Hopefully I will be back in three to six months.

Eyes that once beheld the world so clear, Now shadows cloak what was once near. Macula dims, stealing sight's song, Yet hope and courage still stand strong. In fading light, a spirit's might, Sees beauty beyond the shades of night.

Terrible condition, but lovely poetic words of description, Jay. Your words flowed smoothly as I read your poem today. Have a pleasant weekend, my friend. Bill
