Macaroni and Cheese

'Tis well-known that any pasta concoction will always me appease, But I reckon my all-time favorite is plain old macaroni and cheese! Ah! That simple but hardy fare sets my old taste buds a-twitchin', When my spouse announces, "Honey, supper's ready!" from the kitchen! As far as I know Mr. Kraft invented this delectable mixture, That has over the years become a staple American fixture. 'Tis easy to prepare - on the box is the simple instruction, And you won't clutter up the kitchen making a big production! I've sampled exotic pasta dishes in romantic Roma and old Napoli, Such as fusilli bucati, vermicelli, lasagne, fettuccine and ravioli. They were scrumptious but if ever my palate you want to tease, I'd prefer a hefty helping of plain old macaroni and cheese! Robert L. Robert I agree. Often the best in life is the simple. My mom made homemade mac and cheese to die for. But I sure loved the little boxed Kraft one too. Depending on one's mood, simple spaghetti and macaroni put all the others to shame! Luv, Andrea ps. CONGRATS

Good stuff Bob. We were so poor when I was a kid, that I never knew what it was until I went into the service. Lol! Good luck in the contest. Agape, Moses

Spoken like a true American, Bob! You sampled all the gourmet delights and still prefer mac and cheese. Unfortunately, I know a young man who eats almost nothing BUT mac and cheese. This is very funny and sure to do well in the pasta contest! Love, Carolyn Soup mail in a moment.

Why did I read this now. It is lunch time and I have to eat left overs. Bob, I wanted to write my 2000 and 23 like your poety but I could not figure it out. It just didn't seem to fall into place like yours does. Thanks again for the kind comments on my poem. God Bless you and Vera, Cile Hope you aren't disappointed on the blizzard
