Mac and Cheese

MAC AND CHEESE

Macaroni is Italian
And pasta is another name
With flavor garnished with a sauce
A dish that we can all acclaim
Cheese is kin to everything
As olives, bread and tasty wine
Even blue cheese tows the line
But if you can , I beg you , please
Do not serve me mac and cheese
Quasi Velveeta and processed as well
Butter, milk and other ilk
 all mixed together, goo from hell
This combo doesn’t ring a bell
Yellow yellow how I bellow
Throw some green in for a change
So this staid food won’t be deranged

This is my comfort food, I like this very much.When i make this dish, I sometimes add cooked ground beef. I like this mix, I do it often.My favourite. Have a nice day my friend.

Carolyn Devonshire April 11, 2018 at 5:19 PM Amen, Ralph! The goo that is made from the Mac and Cheese mix tastes like plastic to me, but the dish can be made differently using REAL cheese and it tastes great. I agree totally with your message and you said it well!

Andrea Dietrich March 30, 2018 at 7:42 PM Sadly, I grew up with Kraft macaroni and Valveeta so I love their taste, but I agree with you, they are NOT good for our bodies. Although the Northern Italians use a light sauce, it isn't buttery!
