Ma Chanson (Revised)

cicadas’ chitter
tom cats mating calls shriek shrill
tree frogs click ribbit

barn owls screech their kills
house bats wings slice humid air
mosquitoes sizzle

men croon lullaby’s
coyotes bay at the moon
earths’ breath moves, self sighs
