Ma

In my reveries today I have discovered the eighth wonder of the world, She owned my heart before it was forged by the maker, She is soil colored and bounteous minded, She is nimbus clouds and UV rays, Bringing forth light on my days and rain before my harvest. She has a meadow of hay in the whites of her eyes, Salvation is the tone of her voice And it’s these type of poems that make me question what I’d do for her, Her name is Emma, She has a breath in her chest and love in her heart, Courage past queen vashti and she looks like she’d build Vatican City just to make a pendant out of it, I call her Ma’ and she carries problems and she says it’s exercise.
