Lyla Majnun

rain breaks into the Arab land of desert
and flambòyant flowers intoxicated in love,
kindled a Majnun, O Lyla, where are you?
In my rugged clothes...my madness roams

pearls and diamonds break into tears
sorrowful songs, crave in the palace
sobbed a Lyla, O Majnun, where are you?
in my wedding gown...my shattered home

two half hearts..., slained, yet together
they beat in one, come closer and closer
night belongs to them...dawn takes over
star crossed lovers, still immortal forever.
