Lusting Over Grayscale
Shadows and light
not a matter of
half-full or half-empty
either this or that.
Be it winter or summer
the mind is in confusion
if too much light is
shed on it,
Becomes transparent,
blurred by sunlight
clear thoughts are
annihilated in the bright flood.
Dusk is better
for everything
light intruding only as much
as my children’s laughter,
The mind struggles to create
in too much light
and doomed it is
You brought me out
from shadows into light
and now my mind is suffering
my vision being hindered
Brightness is fair indeed
but what
are you to do there
where all is here and visible?
