The Taliban are sitting on $1 trillion worth of minerals the world desperately needs - CNN

lithium
element of exploitation and mayhem 
used in rechargeable batteries
prevention of Alzheimer's disease
spacecraft and nuclear reactors
advanced war weaponry..
They say a trillion dollars worth
is under the blood and burn of Afghanistan
was it ever really about freeing the oppressed
and sowing the seeds of democracy
Xi is licking his lips

Very interesting, Anthony. Of course, we wonder who the "they" are in "They say a trillion dollars worth..." Do you know whether any of this lithium was extracted during the 20 years we were over there? Just wonderin'.
