Luring Our Planet Toward Peace
When we remember that we are one,
feeling the emphatic soul connection
of the other animals, extending love
to the raccoons, foxes, mice, spiders,
grasshoppers, cobras, sharks, grizzlies ...
When we remember soul is more important than outside packaging,
when we decide to listen to each other, to give each human a fresh
start, no matter what religion, belief system, or country they claim,
when we begin to communicate through silent listening...
When we give each human and animal respect and empathy,
when we show a willingness to hear them, when we remember we are all souls first ...
When we revere and admire the other inhabitants of our planet
the way we admire and revere
the moon, stars, and sun, then we will
begin to feel our planet settling into peace ...
