I heard of an Ojiwe warrior called Wolf Spirit
he led a lupus fierce wolf-like existence
one of strength, cunning, and resilience
he was intelligent, and courageous
navigating the frozen tundra land of Northern Canada
his spirit animal was the Canadian Timber Wolf
it is said his hair was thick and multi-colored like the wolves
he built a log cabin in the dense boreal forest of northern Canada
near a water source and high cliffs for resting and sun
he called the wolves his brother and sisters
hunting with the wolves he became strong, tall and powerful
he howled with them at night
mourned their dead with mournful singing
expressed his happiness with whines and whimpers when greeting them
in time he turned his back on humankind . . .

I am a storyteller that is for sure, my grandma was the family storyteller, but her stories died with her, as a child and when an adult, I would watch her face, would listen to the tone of her voice, the words, the emotion and tears. This is the gift she left me ~
