Luna

My mind is a maze. Through my eyes, haze. For I know not who I am, and the wind, I still chase. For my soul, still a storm and ever since I was born and every stone was formed strong, I knew where I belong. For her embrace is so warm, her eyes, just so calm, and my peace in her palms, it’s her name I call home. But she chose not to stay, it’s the fool who still prays, for I lose my own name, each day she is away. For this life made of clay, never calms, does not lay and my ways sure have changed, I’m not me, is it not strange? Yes, it’s her I desire, she, who put me through fire, though as I now climb up higher, only she can inspire. For had you heard her name, the flames it would tame, as I witnessed myself, the trees blow her way. I saw, the wind, play with her hair, the sun glare, and all it could do was stare. For what’s just and what’s fair, it’s not just me, lost in despair. As every star, every atom and every grain, all chose to walk her way. Oh, the world feels is falling and the walls keep on crawling, I am beat and now fall in, for she’s still my only. and if God hear’s my plead, the oceans they would weep, the sky would cry tears, for it is I, who now fears, I am stranded in years.

I have a question? I just found a poem in a box of pictures from when I was a child. It says 1983 am man wrote this poem for Rachel while watching dads baseball game. The only other name on the paper is Majed. The poem is titled purity. Idk if your even old enough to have written it but i thought it sweet and peeled my interest to see if I could find the Author. Curiously yours, Rachel

Hi Rachel! I'm sorry to say that I'm nowhere near that age! I was born in 96'. I do wish you could find the poet you're looking for though! Best of luck and now you've peeked my curiosity as well!
