I remember Your smile When you told me You wanted to be a writer More than that What you wrote You sliced me apart And stuffed my faults Down my throat You could not swallow That I was choked I look you up once in a while Curious to see if you made it You were so damn talented To this day I still have a lump Sunday September 30th 2018 Remembering What You Want To Forget Poetry Contest Sponsored By Kim Rodrigues

:( I don't know why some people are mean, but I am starting to realize that some try to bring other's down to try and ignore their own faults. I have enjoyed reading many of your poems.

Alas, I do; my mother was a pro ;) This one, well, it was a reaction to a break up, she had lived with us, she picked his side (with avengeance). It was a world of hurt (lol) Thank you my friend :) xomo

Very astute of you John, I have only just realized that much of what she berated me for was indeed the brain injury, that and ADD, which incidentally lends one to be more likely to develop PCS. Don't think I'll ever completely recover from this one... till I lose my mind completely ;) Thank you John, xomo

It was crushing. So close she had lived with my boyfriend and I, sent me that letter when he and I split, essentially breaking up with me. This the first I have written of it, POTD delivers a new, nicer lump in the throat ;) Thank you Jan xomo
