Luminous

This place
So content with manner
Painting a picture
That
 Melts into a mirrored scene
This place
Where
Standing so boastfully are monolithic mountains
Crouching over and conquering
The rippled basin below
This place
A mystical wonder to the eye
Calls out to the pines glassed in its image
Praising a lavender blue sunset
This place
A gift from God
Empowering all that submit to it
And only asks to be respected
This place
Plays the gentle weeps from a violin
And can be heard
Sweeping over the land
This place
Is
Calling into the night
Listen
