Lullaby

My boy with soft brown eyes
As soft as the summer breeze
Your smile, as sweet as honey
Place your head against me
And let me sing you your lullaby
One last time, one last song
Sleep, my darling boy
Listen to the humming of my voice
Let me sway you to and fro
Your body is still warm
And my tears fall ever so softly
Against your skin, my Love
So pale in the darkness
Sleep my Love, and dream
Of you and I together
For we shall meet again
On God’s green land, we shall
Above the waters, so surely
I will hold your hand once more.

Very emotional & heart-gripping. "Tears in Heaven" from Eric Clapton comes to mind here. Congrats to you on being featured on the home page...very well deserved. -Drake

Reem, I am very sorry for this tragedy. Very sad, but as you said, you can hold his hands once more...that is in the heavenly abode. Ernilando
