Lullaby

Close your eyes, Dear; night is nigh. As I sing this lullaby, rest your mind and drift away. Sun has closed another day. Nigh is night. To Dreamland go. Lullaby, drift like soft snow away to sleep. When you're done, day will bring again the sun. March 16, 2019 for charles messina's Jueju-Qijue With A Twist Poetry Contest

You have written a nice rhymed piece here. Most modern poets do not rhyme - I rarely do. I have a chapbook called "Golden Words" out $7 if you are interested. It is finally warming up here in NYC. If you want to trade books that is O.K. You are very prolific! Most of the poets I know - and I know quite a few - do not write a poem every day. I have mixed feelings about revising.
