Lucy

Extremely temperamental she preens and poses like a princess with a secret. Conceited and remote she craves attention and cries until she gets it. Soft to the touch she cuddles closely as I hold her in my arms. She loves to eat, yet maintains her slender figure, so trim, so debonair! She's not easy to live with but she's worth it, despite her cold nose, her scratchy claws and my urge to sneeze, my heart is hers to keep!

This is a wonderful dedication to your Lucy. Our pets become family. They love us unconditionally. We lost our "Sneakers" This December. We had her for almost 18 years. I still catch myself looking for her. I also have 3 black labs. They are all just like kids in many respects. If I am upset or cry they are right there trying to kiss away my tears (a bit overwhelming but I certainly know I'm loved)! Lucy must be a wonderful friend. Excellent write, Keith! Love and hugs, Robin
