Luck

Hard luck
Luck.
I hoped to gift you
with my tears
to adorn your
crown with a
somber face
and a land of soul
with banished smile.
But hard luck
Luck!
I tongued clean
the salty tears.
Hard luck.
Better luck the
next dream-wreck!

discrete, lovely, incisive, well crafted and beautifully portrayed. I am happy to come across this wonderful piece....
