Lucifer Misjudges Us

Lucifer laughs
gloating about the pandemic
loving our anguish

Keeping us apart
trying our patience
miscommunication and misunderstandings

Reveling in our sorrow
And our social distancing
Lucifer thinks he is winning

Not understanding our resiliency
Underestimating our spiritual prowess
Not seeing our faith, misreading the power of prayer

...lucifer was once just a sign of what may come....a bad luck sign...like flipping a coin and getting tails....over the centuries the symbolic 'sign' of luck became a 'real' monster....monster comes from the greek words for 'future/fortune telling'..... stan sand
