Lucifer

You drew me in had me dreaming
Of being
Convinced it was define doing
That we would end up becoming
I wanted to wear that crown
Ornamented
Like a blessing in my mind’s eye I saw it
White dressing, champagne sipping
Love making, House keeping
Baby making, family building
Lives intertwining
But I was just dreaming
Foolishly Fantasizing
I was just simply entertainment
Something to do
An achievement
