Lucidity
Some say life is nothing but a dream
A river that flows, a sparkling stream
We’re born into this and most remain
Asleep, but few comprehension do gain
Carried by the flow they are no more
The truth turns them heavy at the core
Like stones they sink and go down deep
Once awake they cannot go back to sleep
They lay silent in the dark gathering moss
Eons pass, but it’s time well spent, no loss
Shaped and polished by time, the true artist
To emerge anew from the depth of her mist
