My heart is weary and my soul is heavy,
I have removed the dagger but I am bleeding still;
and I know I will have a deep scar forevermore,
oh, but could I remove your name from my mind;
and how I wish that I had never met you, friend!
You see, I am very accepting of any flaws you have,
of our differences in opinions about politics and such;
but, I am demanding in a friendship with two things
loyalty is upmost- and I must trust you;
I heard you were talking behind my back, friend.
So, what do I do with this information told?
Isn't it odd how others like to hurt with gossip;
anyways, you have showed your true colors to me,
and they are not pretty. But, what to heck to do???
Well, Dad always told me to keep my friends close ,
and my enemies closer!
But, YOU will never have my
respect ever, ever again, friend.
