Loving Your Enemies
God says to love your enemies that are perverse,
And bless them that hate you and wish you the worst.
If you offer your love instead, God will hear your humble cry,
As he prepares a mansion for you in the sky.
God sends the sun to rise on the evil as well as good.
He sends the rain on the perfect and the misunderstood.
Let your light shine before men, showing a pure heart since birth,
And glorify your Father in heaven on this cruel earth.
