Loving You Wasn'T Suppose To Hurt

When we
first met
my heart
skipped a
bit & filled
with
excitment,
i couldn't
understand
why!
Because
you were a
stranger
You stared
at me with
a smile
&greeted
with such
warmth in
your voice
It felt i had
known
you forever

Our
relationship
was
everyone's
dream but
you
changed
within a
blink of an
eye
You cared
no more,
you payed
attention
no more,
saying
hurtful
words
seemed to
give you
joy! You'd
smile & say
loosen up
its just a
joke,
knowing
exactly my
heart is in
pieces
Loving you
wasn't
suppose to
hurt

My heart
loved you
still & i
couldn't
understand
why! I
tried so
hard to
make
things
work but
you had
no time
you said
Letting you
go was all i
could do,
although it
hurts, i
knew i will
survive

The tears i
would
hide when
i hear your
name &
the pain in
my heart
was still
the same
You broke
my heart,
left me
crying &
strangely i
still love
you but i
don't
expect you
to love me
back

Loving you
wasn't
suppose to
hurt
