Loving You Every Day of My Life Keeps Me Alive

This separation has got me feeling weak
I try to call for you but I cannot speak
My stress is overwhelming I’m right on the brink
I try to gather a thought but I cannot even think

When you’re gone my heartbeat has to strive
Loving you every day of my life keeps me alive

You’re the wind in my lungs so I can have air
Because of this parting I am truly in despair
You are my one and only true relief
If you’re not by my side I am sick with grief

When you’re gone my heartbeat has to strive
Loving you every day of my life keeps me alive

My arms and legs are limp and they will not work at all
You need to heal me with your presence so that I will never fall
Pour your soul inside of me because mine has a tare
I will be forever thirsty for your everlasting and loving care

When you’re gone my heartbeat has to strive
Loving you every day of my life keeps me alive
