Loving The Rhymes
Words flow like wine
turning thoughts into verses
Dancing through the air,
soft yet powerful as it curses
Living for the art for the way
Defining words can twist
I approach it from angles that
others might miss
Even if we live different,
or walk in different shoes
I can see the magic that
scripts can produce
Dropping lines, expressed
smooth yet slow
Layered with a beat
I’ll make them grow
Mixing styles as im
having a blast
Stories told of my future,
present and past
My stanzas rich with emotion
giving it a pulse
When spoken my voice leaves
you relaxed in sweet lulls
Blending like colors on a page
creating something new
Finding the depth in my scripts
while reciting my point of view
Having a knack for the deep,
turning moments into words
Stories of highs and lows,
in the sky or down in the dirt
My love of poetry leaves me
at a loss sometimes
Then I’ll find myself expressing,
again loving the rhymes
