Loving Her Long Distance

When you love someone the way you loved her
I believe you never really part
Separated by distance
But forever in your heart
Loving her long distance

Loved not less
Though your heart left shattered
When the love of your life
Packed to move to Heaven

And oh boy does Heaven have the most terrible signal
A complete different time zone
Leaving you wanting to hear her voice 
But can’t get through to her phone

You have memories, photos
Of many happy years
But none, none compare 
To having her here

There is a house you live in
But it does not feel like a home
Because the only thing you feel right now
Is completely all alone

Though your heart left shattered
When she packed to go to Heaven that day
I believe that someday you will see her again
‘Till we meet again they say

When you love someone the way you loved her
I believe you never really part
Separated by distance
But forever in your heart
Loving her long distance
